摘要
本文从应用程序的角度将并行计算机系统分为显式并行和隐式并行两类 ,给出了显式并行系统的一般性视图 ,并在此基础上研究了显式并行系统的性能特征化方法 ,包括选取必要的系统性能特征参数以及对各参数值的测量。
From the perspective of an application,we divide parallel computer systems into two categories:explic itly parallel computer systems and implicitly parallel ones,and present universa l views of explicitly parallel computer systems.Based on the opinions,we study a methodology for characterizing explicitly parallel comput er systems,which contains the approaches to the selection and calibration of a group of necessary characteristic parameters.Our study is very useful to designe rs and users of explicitly parallel computer systems.
