主位结构视角下新闻英语汉译的分析研究 被引量：3

An Analytical Study of English News Text Translation into Chinese from the Perspective of Thematic Structure

摘要 主位结构分析关注语句的信息流动模式,是翻译研究的重要视角。通过对选取的英语新闻语篇及其汉译的主位结构分析对比研究,发现不同语言的自身差异和译者的有意识策略选择是影响新闻语篇翻译主位结构变化的两个基本要素。新闻语篇翻译应该在保证原文语篇意义和译文可读性的前提下,尽可能保留原文的主位结构和语言形式。 Thematic structure analysis focuses on the pattern of information flow in sentences and provides us a perspective to conduct translation study. By a comparative study of thematic structure of selected English news texts and their Chinese trans- lations, it is found that language differences and the translator＇ s conscious strategy choice are two key factors in thematic change in news text translation. Thematic structure of the original text is supposed to be maintained in translation when the meaning and readability of the translated text is guaranteed.
