如何定义高等教育国际化:寻求一个本土化的概念框架 被引量:20

摘要 高等教育国际化的诸多定义间存在定义区域、路径及层面三重主要差异,这相应构成了高等教育国际化概念框架的三个重要维度:动因与目标维度、活动与过程维度及参与者主体维度。当前我国高等教育国际化可理解为高等院校为提升国际竞争力和国际声誉,在国家政策支持下采取核心—系统的策略模式,将国际化维度融入高等院校教学、科研与管理中的系统过程。 Various definitions of internationalization of higher education(IHE) differ a lot when it comes to the scope,approaches and degree of IHE.Actually,a conceptual framework of IHE is comprised of three dimensions,i.e.motivation or goals,activities or steps,and participants.In China today,IHE could be defined as the systematic steps taken by a higher education institution,under the support of national government,to internationalize the school's teaching,research and administration so as to enhance its competitiveness and prestige.
