王熙凤参与两次治丧是一个前后呼应对比的整体,后四十回中为贾母治丧是不容忽略的一个章节。没有第二次治丧,我们对凤姐形象的解读就是不完整的。通过给贾母治丧的"失败",告诉我们两个重要的哲理:末世英才难回天,靠山靠不住,靠山是冰山。

The two funeral arrangements made by WANG Xi-feng （a most important female character in A Dream of Red Mansions） form a sharp contrast for the revelation of WANG＇ s fate. The second funeral arrangement for Jiamu made by WANG in the later forty chapters of the masterpiece was a total failure which predicted that WANG＇ s tragic fate was coming. This event is important in the book and cannot be ignored because it gives us two philosophical apocalypses： even the talent cannot change his / her fate in the last phase of an age, and the backer is an iceberg which is easy to melt.
