Wang Yangming was a great Chinese thinker and educator in mid - Ming Dynasty, whose educational thinking was an important part of ancient Chinese educational thought. He inherited Neo - Confucianism and Pro - Confucianism. In his military life, he discovered the doctrine of ＂enlightenment＂ and proposed the educational idea of ＂everyone being able to a saint＂.
