浅析汉英谚语中的数字表达

谚语广泛存在于汉语和英语之中,体现着不同文化背景和宗教信仰下的人们的不同认知。谚语中有很多运用数字进行表达的语句,本文通过对汉语和英语的谚语中的数字表达的分析,得出其背后隐藏的文化内涵和宗教信仰方面的不同。

Proverbs are widely used both in Chinese and in English. They reflect recognition of people from different cultural and religious backgrounds. As we know that many proverbs contain numbers, which play a key role in conveying opinions. In this paper, the author collects proverbs with numbers both in Chinese and in English; through comparison and analysis of their expressions, the author tries to reveal the cultural and religious differences in a higher level which have been latent in both langnages.
