Ideological Purity:the Unremitting Pursuit of CPC as a Marxist Political Party

思想纯洁是马克思主义政党的一贯追求。胡锦涛同志在中央纪委十七届七次全会上提出了保持党的纯洁性的重大课题,在党的十八大报告中把纯洁性建设上升到了党建主线的高度。在深入分析历史上党对思想纯洁问题的认识的基础上,根据经济社会发展的实际情况,突出新时期党员坚定理想信念和政治自信在保持思想纯洁中的重要地位,通过思想教育和民主监督双管齐下,扎扎实实推进保持思想纯洁的各项工作。

Ideological purity is the unremitting pursuit of CPC as a Marxist political party. Hu Jintao puts forward the importance of keeping our Party＇s purity on the 7th Session of the 17th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and gives priority to the purity building among our Party＇s construction in the Report of the 18th CPC National Congress. Based on a deep analysis to our Party＇s understanding about i- deological purity in history and in view of the situation of our economic society, this paper points out that to enhance the work of keeping CPC＇s ideological purity, all Party members must stick to their ideals and faith, and trust the importance of political assertiveness; meanwhile, our party should conduct ideological education and democratic supervision. Only through this way can we carry out our work smoothly.
