The connotative development of logistics in Lianyungang is a reflection of the city＇s economic features in close accordance with the guidelines of the municipal party committee and municipal govern- ment. This paper employs the SWOT method to evaluate both the advantages and disadvantages of the connotative development of logistics in Lianyungang, analyze its challenges and opportunities, and put for- ward some countermeasures to strengthen its development.
