Experimental study of heat pipe heat exchanger used in communication base station

摘要 将重力型热管应用于通信基站的温度调节系统,利用热管自身的高效导热特性,通过空气强制对流换热的方式实现基站的散热降温,以此代替基站压缩机空调,从而大幅降低基站空调能耗。通过对某地典型移动通信基站环境温度控制技术及其能耗特点的分析,设计并安装了匹配基站热负荷的分离式热管换热器,并进行了能耗对比试验。在该试验条件下,加装重力型热管换热器的基站比只装有压缩机空调的基站空调耗电减少35%左右。 Gravity heat pipe desighed by our reserch group was applied in temperature control system for communication base stations. The use of the heat pipe itself highly efficient thermal properties, and thermal cooling by air forced convection heat transfer from the base station, which replaces the base station compressor air conditioning, thereby significantly reducing enegy consumption of the base station air conditioning. Based on analysis of the temperature control technology and energy consumption characteristics of a typical communication base station environment, a gravity heat pipe heat exchanger was designed and installed to match the base station heat load and a energy consumption comparison test was made. According to the experimental conditions, The base stations air-conditioning with heat pipe heat exchanger would reduce 35% power consumption compared with air-conditioning without the heat pipe heat exchanger.
