摘要
南京大屠杀是撼动中外,人类历史上空前绝后,绝无仅有的残酷事件,它不仅使中国无辜百姓惨遭杀害,而且还使包蕴着我国悠久历史文化和民族传统精神的图书遭受厄运。图书劫掠,是日本侵华政策的一个重要组成部分。日本侵略者在南京大屠杀中大肆劫掠南京公、私所藏图书,尤其是众多的珍贵图书,还把大量图书当作“薪炭”焚毁,充分暴露出他们在占我领土、屠我人民、灭我文化方面极端的残酷性、野蛮性和一贯性。日军对图书的劫掠,不是个别的、零星的、随意的,而是有计划的、有组织的,本质上是为其侵略、占领并奴役中国服务的。返还被劫去的图书有益于认识战争罪责。
Manjing massacre is an unique, unprecedented and unrepeatable cruel events in human history, it not only means the Chinese innocent civilians were killed, but also shows misfortune of books which contain the long history of Chinese culture and national traditional spirit. Looting books is an important part of the Japanese in- vasion of China. The Japanese invaders looted public and private books in Nanjing massacre, especially many pre- cious books, even put a lot of books as "carbon" burned, these actions fully exposed the brutality of invading terri- tory, killing Chinese people, destroying Chinese culture. Japanese invaders looted books on planned, not at random. Returning the books looted is helpful to understand Japanese war crimes. organized.
