Occupational hazard survey in electroplating industry in bao′an district street of Shenzhen city

目的了解深圳市宝安区某街道电镀行业职业病危害现状。方法按国家有关的职业技术规范、职业卫生标准进行职业病危害调查和职业健康检查。结果该行业存在的主要职业病危害因素有盐酸、硫酸、硝酸、氨、氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾、氰化氢、甲苯、二甲苯、三氯乙烯、其他粉尘和噪声。结论该行业存在的职业病危害较严重,应加大对该行业的监管力度,保证劳动者职业健康。

Objective To understand the current situation of occupational hazards in electroplating industry in Bao＇an district of shenzhen city. Methods Occupational hazard survey and occupational health checks were based on the corresponding national technical specifications and standards. Results The main occupational hazards were chlorhydric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, ammonia, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, hydrogen cyanide, toluene, xylene, trichloroethylene （TCE）, other dusts and noise. Conclusion Severe occupational hazards exist in electroplating industry. It is necessary to strengthen the surpervision over electroplating industry and to ensure the health of laborers.
