In order to realize the talent demands of enterprises for microbial technology and application major in higher vocational colleges, the paper makes a teaching discussion from such aspects as theoretical teaching, practical teaching, assessment criteria and teaching materials so as to achieve the aim of making higher vocational students grasp theoretical knowledge, improve practical skills, train innovative thinking ability and strengthen professional quality.
