摘要
本文提出了一种基于小波包分解的图像压缩编码方法 ,根据子带变换系数的统计特性结合人眼的视觉特性对小波包分解的子带有选择的进行量化编码 ,形成不同压缩码率和图像质量等级 。
A static image compressing method based on wavelet packet transform is proposed. Alternative quantification and coding to some subbands is carried out according to the characteristics of subband transform coefficients characterization. Various image quality levels and bit rates can be obatined, which meats the different requirements of different users of video service networks.
