台湾原住民语言能力及语言使用状况调查研究

On Indigenous Peoples’Language Level and Use in Taiwan

台湾原住民有40多万,约占人口总数的2%。这部分群体又分为不同的民族,各民族语言状况较为复杂,语言能力、语言态度等多有不同。调查显示,原住民对国语的掌握程度较高,63%的原住民能用原住民语熟练交谈;国语使用领域较广,原住民语的使用领域正在逐步萎缩,限于家庭及庙宇或教会场合。在台湾,保护原住民语的呼声很高。

The total population of Taiwan’s indigenous people is about more than 40 million which are divided into different nations.There are some differences and some similarities between their language skills,language use and language attitude.The overall situation of Taiwan’s aboriginal languages will be studied.Survey shows： the Proficiency of mandarin is higher;Taiwan’s indigenous people level of the aboriginal languages is not so good.Mandarin is used in many occasions,and aboriginal language is used at home and in temples or churches.
