从信道容量和数据库吞吐量两方面分析了C/S模式下MIS系统的网络规模 .以医院信息系统为例 ,说明了在数据量相对较小的情况下 ,网络规模主要受限于数据库吞吐量 ;同时 ,在规划MIS系统时 ,应根据实际业务量选择合适的数据库系统及软、硬件平台 .

This paper analyzes the network scale of MIS with C/S mode, including the channel capacity and database throughput dividually. For example, in Hospital Information System, the network scale is restricted by database throughput primarily because the data bits is little restricted. We should choose appropriate database and platform of software and hardware according to actual traffic while programming a Management Information System.
