怪蚤属一新种记述及对该属属征的补充和亲缘关系的探讨

Description of New Species of the Genus Paradoxopsyllus from Hebei,China with Some Supplemental Characters in the Diagnosis of the Genus

本文记述了柳氏怪蚤新种Paradoxopsyllus liui sp.nov.,模式标本采自河北省蔚县,宿主为社鼠;对怪蚤属属征进行了补充。

1. Paradoxopsyllus liuisp. nov. Diagnosis: the new species belongs to the curvispinus group, it is related to P. curvispinus Miyajima & Koidzumi, 1909 in shape of movable process. The principal differences from the latter are: (1) movable process higher and with an angle in the middle of the anterior margin of the movable process that is distinct, below the angle with deeper arc-shaped, and above the angle-obligue cut-like; (2) fixed process is tapering and wider at the base; (3) the numbers of bristles of bristle's bunch are less than one of the latter under acetabulum of TVIII(5 in the new species, and 9 in curvispinus). (4) tip of crochet is nearly peachlike in the new species, however the same position is almost triangularis in curvispinus. Type Data: Holotype ?, 2.2 mm long, taken ex Rattus niviventer Hodgson from Yu County, Hebei Province in October, 1963. Type is deposited in the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, P.L.A., Beijing, China. 2. Supplemental characters of genus Paradoxopsyllus: in this paper, used four new morphologically diagnostic characters between the genus and Ophthalmopsylla: shape of crochet, dorso-lateral lobe of aedoeagus (present or absent), sclerotized spiniform process of inner tube and developmental degree of apical appendage of aedoeagus, a comparative table of main characters for identification of the two genera is given in the paper.
