摘要
目前我国大学英语公共课的课程设置已经与高校专业的发展不相适应,同时又与高中英语在内容上有重复,大学英语教学的生存与发展面临困境。基于学科的大学英语教学新理念是新一轮大学英语教学改革的方向标,是大学英语公共课走出困境的有效途径。
At present,EGP teaching in China is confronted with difficulties of survival and development, because its course design has not been adapted to the development of specialty in colleges and universities. The Discipline-based Foreign Language Instruction is the guiding landmark of the coming teaching reform, and is also the most effective way out for EGP.
