"女性与自然"为什么会成为中国现代文学中常见的象征符码,它又具有什么样的形态、性质与意涵,从中国现代文学中颇具代表性与影响力的乡土写实小说、新感觉派小说和京派作品切入来看,这个象征符码虽然被不同的作家群体赋予了不尽相同的意象与意旨,但却都以他者镜像的功能动态地参与了中国现代性与现代主体的生产与建构过程。分析并揭示这个过程与事实,有助于我们对影响至今的现代文学中所隐含的父/男权制话语形态的识别与认知、批评与反思。

Why Women and nature became the important symbolic codes of the contemporary literature.9 What form, essence or meaning did they have？ They were endowed with different meanings in the symbolic system of the local realistic novels, the new sense school novels and the Beijing school novels which were the most typical representative of the Chinese contemporary literature, but their funtion were the same. They dynamicly participated in the construction of the modem subject in the patriarchal ideology as the role of the other. To analyse and announce the fact would contribute to the criticizing and introspection of the patriarchal discourse system in the contemporary literature.
