摘要
作为商务英语写作教学体系的内容之一,英文求职信一直以来被视为难以开展教学的商务语篇。与七个语步相比,AIDA模式不仅可以丰富英文求职信写作教学策略,而且有助于提高学生英语写作水平和书面沟通能力。在教学中,教师巧妙设计热身和导入策略,灵活运用四个步骤策略:给雇主留下好印象,赢得注意;识别或重申雇主的需求,激发雇主的兴趣;把自身特点与公司利益联系起来,刺激雇主的欲望;提供联系方式,促成雇主的行动。
As one part of teaching system in business English writing,English cover letter has been regarded as a diffi. cult business discourse to carry out in teaching.Compared with seven moves,the AIDA Model can not only enrich the teaching strategies in cover letter writing but also improve students'writing level and written communication skills.When teaching,teachers make a smart design of the warm-up and lead-in strategies and a flexible application of the four-step strategy: making a good impression and gaining employer's attention,indentifying or reiterating the employer's needs and arousing the employer's interests,combining self features with company's benefits and stimulating the employer's desire, leaving contact information and promoting the employer's action.
