制造和市场全球化使企业对基于 Web的 PDM系统的需求日益迫切 ,同时传统的设计制造数据不适合作为Internet上的共享数据 .传统的产品数据到 Web使能数据的转换成为基于 Web的 PDM系统开发的关键技术之一 .文章介绍了 NPU- Web PDM系统的总体框架 ,对产品数据及其相应的 Web使能数据做了分析和讨论 ,具体给出从 STEP数据到 VRML数据转化的算法思路 .最后给出几种

Due to the trend of worldwide manufacturing and market, the requirement for Web based Product Data Management System is becoming increasingly urgent in industry enterprises. It is unsuitable for the traditional design and manufacturing data to be shared over Internet. So converting these data into Web enabled ones is one of key techniques to develop the Web based PDM system. The paper presents the framework of NPU WebPDM system, and discusses the product data and its relevant Web enabled data. An high level algorithm is presented to transform the STEP data into VRML data. Finally, several examples of Web-enabled data are provided.
