摘要
本文从女性主义批评及文化批评中的两个核心概念"去疆界化"和"田园理想"出发,解读海尔曼戏剧中美国南方"失语症"的内外在原因。通过对海尔曼代表作《小狐狸》和《森林的另一处》两部剧本的分析,笔者认为海尔曼不仅是一位女权主义剧作家,她更是一位具有高度历史感与道德观的文化批评家。对海尔曼戏剧中美国南方"失语症"这一论题的探讨展示出海尔曼对美国社会特定历史时期中政治、经济、性别和话语权之间辩证关系的深刻思考。海尔曼的戏剧为人们更全面和更真实地了解、研究内战爆发后美国南方社会的文化状况提供了不可多得的文学文本参照。
Based on the perspective of feminist criticism and the basic concepts in cultural criticism such as "de-territoriazation" and "pastoral dream", this article decodes the internal and exter- nal causes of the phenomena of "aphasia" in the American south depicted in Hellman's dramas. Through the analysis of Hellman's representative plays Little Foxes and Another Part of the Forest, the article argues that Hellman is not only a feminist dramatist but also a cultural critic with strong senses of history and morality. The discussion of the phenomena of "aphasia" in the American south depicted in Hellman's dramas demonstrates Hellman's profound reflection on dialectic relationships among politics,economy, gender and power of speech. Hellman's dra- matic works have provided people with exceptional references of literature texts to understand and study the cultural conditions of the American south after the outbreak of the Civil War.
