Multi-slice CT: Scanning Techniques

1992年,随着双层扫描器的问世,多层CT逐渐进入,并在1998年随着4层CT技术的发展而得到进一步的改进。相对于单层螺旋CT,多层CT的优势明显,包括时间分辨率和z轴上空间分辨率的改善、血管内造影剂浓度的增高、图像噪声的减小、X射线管的高效利用及更长的解剖覆盖范围。

Dual-slice scanner was firstly introduced to market in 1992, and multiple-slice CT systems were then playing a more and more important role in medical diagnosis, and got a big improvement with 4-slice CT in 1998. Compared with single-slice CT systems, multi-slice ones have obvious advantages on time- and z- resolutions, enhance contract materials in blood, reduce image noise, better duration of X-ray tube and larger coverage of anatomical length.
