Breeding and Application of New Two-line Medium Indica Hybrid Rice Combination Liangyou 628 with High Yield and Fine Quality

两优628是安徽华韵生物科技有限公司用合肥齐民济生生物技术研究所选育的水稻两系不育系033S与R628配组育成的杂交中籼新组合。2009和2010年参加安徽省中籼区域试验,产量分别为8.993和9.016 t/hm2,分别比对照Ⅱ优838增产6.25%和7.22%,米质各项指标均达到部颁《食用稻品种品质》3级标准,并具有抗病性较强、稳产性好等特点,适宜在安徽省一季稻区推广种植。2012年7月通过安徽省农作物品种审定委员会审定。

Liangyou 628, derived from 033S, a PTGMS line from Hefei Qimin Jisheng Bio-tech Research Institute, and R628, is a new two-line medium indica hybrid rice combination with high yield and stress resistance developed by Anhui Huayun Bio-science and Technology Co. Ltd. It yielded 8. 993 and 9. 016 t/hm2 in the regional trials for medium indica rice of Anhui Province in 2009 and 2010, respectively, 6.25% and 7.22% higher than those of the check hybrid variety U You 838. Its grain quality traits met all the 3ra class standards of the Cooking Rice Variety Quality issued by MOA. In addition, it shows a stable yielding ability and a strong disease resistance. Suitable for growing in single rice cropping regions in Anhui Province, it was registered and released to commercial production bv Anhui Provincial Croo Variety Aopraisal Committee in July, 2012.
