In the contemporary educational evaluation, there exist some problems such as the evaluation of people＇ s expectation and the helplessness of the reality , the national character and regional issues of the educational evaluation. From the school examination system and the imperial examination sys- tem, etc. , the present paper makes a thorough inquiry into the historical origins of such problems and analyses the contemporary influence of the traditional Chinese education evaluation, which is conducive to resolving the existing problems in today＇s educational evaluation.
