Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway is an important traffic artery.The safety,traffic organization and the other factors must be taken into account during the construction of the bridges if crossing it.The article analyzes the merits and faults of five bridge types,i.e.launched steel-box girder,cantilever casting concrete box girder,composite concrete box girder,whole-deck swivel concrete box girder and separate-deck swivel concrete box girder.The separate-deck swivel concrete box girder is recommended.
