《章太炎说文解字授课笔记》的方法创新

Method Innovation of Zhang Taiyan's Lecture Notes of Shuowenjiezi

这部《笔记》是新近问世的章太炎著作,从中可以领略章氏学术的特殊结构,也可以窥见近代学术史的嬗变之迹。梁启超曾说,章太炎的方法是清儒正统派的,从《笔记》看,梁氏只说对了一半。陈寅恪曾云,凡解释一字,即是做一部文化史,从《笔记》看,陈氏所云,正是章氏所创。胡适亦曰,章氏方才有贯通的诸子学,这部《笔记》则体现了别一种贯通。

This Notes which is coming out recently records Zhang Taiyan’s academic successes on Shuowenjiezi.From the notes,we can learn the special structures of Zhang’s academic successes and see the evolution tracks of modern academic history.Liang Qichao once said that Zhang Taiyan’s method belonged to the orthodox school of Confucianism in Qing dynasty.According to the Notes,Liang is only half right.Chen Yinke once said that making an interpretation of a character is making a cultural history.According to the Notes,what Chen said is just what Zhang created.Hu Shi also said that a coherent theory system of the various schools of thought during the period from pre-Qin times to the early years of the Han Dynasty never appear till Zhang put forward his own theory.The Notes reflects another kind of coherence.This paper tries to discuss the above content based on the specific materials of the Notes.
