The basic structure of the stuffing box of the reciprocating pump for hydrogenation feed was the core equipment of Luoyang Petrochemical Co. , Ltd. The causes of packing leakage were analyzed from the operating conditions, installation methods, and selection of the materials of packing and plunger. What＇s more, improvement measures were proposed respectively, which could improve the operation cycle of the pump for hydrogenation feed greatly.
