A Review and a Prospect of the Development of Chinese Democracy since the Founding of PRC

中国共产党人在建国以来的奋斗历程中,为实现人民当家作主、促进民主政治的日益完善和发展,矢志不渝,奋勇前进,经历了艰辛的探索与实践,找到了一条具有中国特色的民主政治道路,这条道路符合中国国情,是历史和现实的选择。回顾中国民主政治建设的历程,展望未来,积极探索中国特色民主政治的有效途径,对加强社会主义民主政治建设具有重要的意义。

In the struggle history since the founding of PRC （The People＇s Republic of China）, CPC （the Communist Party of China） adheres to her doctrines, puts great efforts into guaranteeing the people being the mas- ters of the country and promotes the development of democratic politics. After laborious experiments and practice, CPC has created a democratic road with Chinese characteristics, which, as the choice of history and reality, agrees with China＇s national conditions. The paper proposes that a review of the development of Chinese democracy and positive exploration on efficient path for the democracy with Chinese characteristics should be of importance to strengthen the construction of socialist democracy.
