《霍小玉传》与《谭意哥记》女性形象的异同

Similarities and Differences of Female Images in “The Biography of Huo Xiaoyu" and "The Biography of Tan Yige”

《霍小玉传》和《谭意哥记》是唐、宋传奇中的代表性作品,主人公霍小玉和谭意哥也是传奇小说中青楼女子的典型代表。由于题材相近,霍小玉和谭意哥有诸多相似之处,如:虽沦落风尘却久存从良之志;对妓女的现实地位有比较清醒的认识;忠于爱情等。由于作品创作年代不同,作者的创作意图不同,两人在性格和结局方面也有一定的差异,如:霍小玉温柔多情而不乏执着刚烈,谭意哥则温柔痴情且守节重礼;霍小玉死后化为厉鬼报复李益的负心;谭意哥则苦志守节并最终得以夫妻团圆。

＂The Bography of Huo Xiaoyu＂ and ＂The Rcord of Tan Yige＂ are the representative works of the legend of the tang dynasty and song dynasty. The protagonists Huo Xiaoyu and Tan Yige also are the typical representatives of prostitutes in the legendary novels. Due to similar themes, Huo Xiaoyu and Tan Yige have many similarities, for example ,although they are the prostitutes ,they still hope for the normal woman＇s life; they both have a clear understanding of the hooker＇s actual status ;they are also loyal to the love and so on. ince they were created in different age and the author＇s purpose of writing is different, they have a certain difference in the character and outcome, or instance, Huo Xiaoyu is not only gentle and affectionate, but also persistent and unyielding, Tan Yige is gentle,spoony and pays more attention to ethics. After the death of Huo Xiaoyu, she became a devils and took revenge on the ungrateful Li Yi： However ,Tan Yige determineded to widowhood, and because of her good reputation, she was reunited with his husband eventually.
