The article explores Dickinson＇ s views of nature from three parts. Part One analyzes the influence on Dickinson from Emerson and Higginson, the latter is the most important correspondent in Dickinson＇ s life. Part Two explains Dickinson＇ s suspicion toward heaven and God, and her realistic attitude to the beauty of this world lead to her awe and infatuation of nature. Part Three illustrates the reason of Dickinson＇ s seeking for fame as a poet and her knowledge of the function of poems, and how Dickinson writes about the four seasons of New England as a New England poet.
