Western and Traditional Factors in Writing Modern Detective Fictions

在中国繁多的现代通俗文学类型中,侦探小说以曲折离奇的破案故事和神秘悬疑的风格特色抓住市民读者的猎奇心理,成为文学的另一道风景。随着西方通俗文学的翻译与引入,作家群体也感受到了侦探小说独特的美学魅力,继而掀起侦探小说的创作热潮。众多小说家创作出的侦探文学作品不可避免的受到西方文学因素的影响,同时又具有鲜明的本土特色,不仅在现代通俗文学世界里占得一席之地,而且至今具有旺盛的生命力。

Among various Chinese modern popular literature types, detective fictions, which are featured with both case-solving twists and the unique style of the mystery suspense, seize readers ＂ psychology of seeking novelty, becoming another landscape of the literature. With the transla- tion and introduction of western popular literature, domestic writers set up an upsurge of writing detectives from which they deeply feel the resistless aesthetic appeal. It is evitable for many fic- tionists to write detective items under the influence of western culture and meantime distinctively specialized with Chinese traditional factors. And these culture mixed detectives have not only taken up a place in the world of popular modern literature, but also been distributing vigorous vi- tality.
