摘要
以商用有限元流体计算软件CFX为计算平台,对114.5 kA导流型铝电解槽由电磁力引起的对铝液流动和波动的影响进行了模拟计算。结果表明,导流型电解槽铝液平均流速较传统电解槽降低了50%,在铝液填满沟槽的极限情况下,聚铝沟内铝液界面波动的最大隆起值为1.04 cm,较传统槽的3.1 cm有较大幅度的降低,当铝液低于沟槽2 cm的一般情况下,铝液波动0.58 cm,这时铝液不会溢出沟槽。
Numerical simulations was conducted based on the commercial finite element method software package CFX to study the influences of electromagnetic field and electromagnetic force distribution on flow fields and fluctua- tions of the molten metal in a 114. 5 kA drained cell. The simulation results show that compared to the traditional cathode cell, the drained cell has a decrease of 50% in averaged velocity of the metal;When molten aluminum was full in drained cell, the highest fluctuation of aluminum pad surface is 1.04 cm, compared with the traditional cell, has a significant drop;When the general case that liquid aluminum groove 2 cm lower, the fluctuation of aluminum pad surface is 0. 58 cm, then the liquid aluminum will not overflow the drained cell
