Practical Studies on Cultivating Critical Thinking Ability in College Foreign Language Teaching

批判性思维作为大学生综合素质不可或缺的有机组成部分,其培养工作日益受到教育界的关注和重视,并已成为高等教育的重要任务和目标。结合大学外语教学中的阅读、写作和翻译等课程的教学实践活动,提出了有效开发和培养大学生批判性思维的策略。

Critical thinking ability, as an integral part of college students＇ comprehensive quality, is becoming a focus of the attention from the educating circles, and has ranked among the important teaching tasks of higher education. The paper puts forward some effective teaching methods for developing and cultivating college stu- dents＇ critical thinking ability by means of foreign languages reading, writing and translation courses.
