摘要
美籍华裔作家谭恩美的代表著《喜福会》一经问世便轰动美国文坛,随后被翻译成35种语言,还被拍成电影。《喜福会》有六个中译版本,由此可见《喜福会》在中国的受欢迎程度。国内学术界主要从文化身份、母女关系、女性主义、东方主义等角度来研究《喜福会》,对《喜福会》翻译的研究甚少。本文从叙事学视角分析《喜福会》的两个中译本,探讨叙事学对翻译实践和翻译批评的指导作用。
The Joy Luck Club, the representative work of Chinese American writer Amy Tan, created a sensa- tion in the American literary world when it was published in 1989, followed by its versions in 35 languages around the world and a movie shot according to the novel. It has six Chinese versions, which proves its great popularity in China. Chinese scholars approach The Joy Luck Club mainly from the perspective of cultural identity, relationship between mother and daughter, feminism, orientalism and the like, paying less attention to its Chinese translation. From perspective of Narratology, this paper analyzes the two Chinese versions of The Joy Luck Club, and explores the guidance role of Narratology in the practice of translation and translation criticism.
