With serious research on integration technology of web and database in Intranet, deep analyses of technologies of CGI, ISAPI, ActiveX, ASP and Java Applet are taken through comparisons on their advantages and disadvantages, and application environment. Based on the research,a solution for database access through web pages is proposed. This solution is characterized by crossplatform, good dynamics and interactivity and strong scalability. Therefore,it produces broad prospects for application when database operation through web page is required in setting up enterprise Intranet.
