清乾隆四十年,南韶兵备道李璜在一次闲游丹霞山别传寺时,在寺内方丈室偶然发现90多年前别传寺开山祖师澹归和尚所著的《偏行堂集》手稿,由此引发了震惊乾隆朝的"别传寺公案"。

In the fortieth year of Chien-lung Emperor, on a tour to Danxia Mountain, Li Huan, the military leader of Nanshao, came across the manuscript of the Collection of Pianxing Hall, which was written by Dan Gui, the founder of Biechuan Temple and his monks. The anecdote brought quite a stir in the period of Chien-lung Emperor.
