阐述了教师素养的内涵;指出教师的思想素养、文化素养、业务素养是提高教学质量的保障;针对如何提高教师素养提出了几点建议。

The teaching quality is considered to be ＂life and soul＂ in a school. Teachers take responsibility forimparting knowledge and educating students. It is teachers with the high quality who can turn out qualified personnel. In the process of curriculum reform, improving teachers＇quality is one of the fundamental measures for implementation of quality education and improving the teaching quality. Therefore, teachers play an irreplaceable role in improving teaching quality, and improving teaching quality lies in the improvement of their qualities.
