Edgar Allan Poe made a great contribution in short story creation and helped develop a benign short story tradition in the coun try. ＂The Tell-Tale Heart＂ was one of his much concerned masterpieces, whose cruel and paranoiac murderer had been impressing ever since. In this paper, an analysis is to be done of the rhythm created through pronunciation, punctuation, syntax to explain the unique aesthetic effect of the work in language aspect.
