摘要
近年来,美国连续剧在中国深受欢迎,但相应的字幕翻译质量却令人担忧。本文以Christiane Nord的误译理论为依据,以深受好评的风软美剧字幕组翻译的Boston Legal第一季第一集字幕为对象,探讨其字幕误译的生成机制,提出减少误译的策略。
American dramas are gaining great popularity in China in recent years, but their subtitling translations are far from satisfactory. In light of Christiane Nord's Functional Theory, this paper analyzes mistranslations of subtitles in Boston Legal of the first episode of the first season, which were done by Fengruan Subtitling Groups,then discusses their causes,and proposes strategies to overcome such mistakes.
