Pingdingshan Tragedy happened in September 1932 and Nanjing Massacre in December 1937 are two very representative massacres by the Japanese invading army during the local invasion and full phases of aggres- sion. Although the two massacres occurred in different historical stages, with different causes and strategic intent, the size and content of heterogeneity between the two are different, however, the two massacres are similar in the massacre prepared for the Japanese army, killing and even the intervention of third parties. The two massacres dur- ing the Japanese invasion of China as the atrocities on the land of China, show the Japanese understanding of war, atrocities and historical concept.
