Urbanization,Industrialization and Transformation of the Economic Development Mode in Minority Region

民族地区城镇化、工业化与经济发展方式转变之间存在密切联系。本文首先进行了城镇化、工业化与经济发展方式转变的理论分析,然后采用2000-2010年民族八省区的时间序列数据和面板数据,利用统计分析软件SPSS和Eviews进行民族地区城镇化与工业化、经济发展之间的实证分析。研究表明:民族地区经济发展起步于重工业优先的工业化战略,依靠工业化推动,城镇化滞后于经济发展。近10年来民族地区进入城镇化快速发展时期,呈现工业化推动经济发展到城镇化带动经济发展的转折迹象。新型城镇化有利于促进民族地区转变经济发展方式。新时期推动民族地区经济发展方式转变的关键在于新型城镇化与新型工业化协调互动,努力走出一条顺应时代要求、具有民族地区特色的科学发展之路。

There is a close relationship between urbanization, industrialization and transformation of e- conomic development mode in minority region. Firstly, this paper theoretically analyses the link between ur- banization, industrialization and transformation of economic development mode, then using the time series data and panel data of minority region in the period of 2000 -2010, and using the statistical software SPSS and Eviews to empirically analyse the urbanization, industrialization and economic development. The study indicates that the economic development of minority region was promoted by the heavy industry priority de- velopment strategy in the beginning, so the urbanization level lags behind the economic development level. In recent ten years, the minority region come to a rapid urbanization time, which shows an evident transfor- mation that economic development was promoted by industrializing change to urbanize. The new urbanization is benefit of promoting the transformation of economic development mode. The key way of transforming eco- nomic development mode is the harmonious interaction between new urbanization and new industrialization, and finds a scientific and ethnic distinctive development road that conforming to the need of time.
