More Attention Should Be Paid to Research about the Shortcomings of First-Round Local Records

首轮修志积累了丰富的经验。为了更好地编修第二轮志书,进一步提高第二轮志书编纂质量,不仅要对首轮修志的编纂经验进行系统总结,更要对首轮修志过程中存在的不足之处进行深入反思。只有全面完整地吸取首轮修志的经验教训,才能在第二轮乃至今后的修志工作中扬长避短,才能将地方志工作水平提高到一个新的水平,为尽快建立方志学科理论体系作出新的贡献。

Rich experiences were accumulated during first-round local records compilation.To have second-round local records better compiled,to further improve the compilation quality of second-round local records,we need to not only conduct systematic summary of the compilation experiences of first-round local records,but also have deep rethinking about the shortcomings existed in the course of first-round local records compilation.It is only through full and comprehensive absorption of the experiences and lessons of first-round local records compilation that we can develop the strong points and avoid the weak points in second-round and later rounds of local records compilation,and lift the level of local records work to a new height,making new contributions to the quicker establishment of the theoretical system of local records studies.
