宝庆《四明志》述评

宝庆《四明志》为浙江宁波地区现存最早的较为完备的成型志书,成书后仍时有续增。该志体例创新,门类丰富,条理明晰,叙事完备,考订翔实,充分体现志书发展到宋代已经较为完备成熟的特点。此外,该志史料价值和辑佚价值等较大,为研究宋代地方官制提供鲜活可信的文献依据。其中大量的民俗和乡土琐事资料亦为他种史料所不及。当然,该志也存在诸如考史有误,引文不够严谨及传抄中出现的错、讹、脱、移等问题。

Baoqing Siming Records is the earliest more complete full-fledged local records of the Ningbo region in Zhejiang now in existence.It was supplemented once in a while after its completion.It is creative in style,rich in categories,clear in organization,complete in narration,detailed in textual research,and fully exemplify the fact that by the Song Dynasty local records was already relatively mature and complete.Moreover,it is quite valuable as historical reference materials and materials for studies on compilation of lost documents,providing credible and lively documentary basis for research in local bureaucratic system in the Song Dynasty.Many of the materials on folk customs and rural minutiae in large quantity are not seen in other historical reference materials.Of course,it also has problems in areas such as mistakes in historical fact checks,lack of preciseness in quotations,and cases of mistakes,errors,missing words,and misplaced words in copying.
