The functions and classification of antistatic coating and the special requirements of petroleum productstorage tank on the coating are outlined. The effect of electrode potential of conducting packing material. permeationresistance of paint layer and thickness of dried film on the life cycle of tank well's antirust function is analyzed. Ageneral rule to choose various types of coating material for different tank structures in foreign countries is introduced,and the mating principle for antistatic/corrosion resistant inner wall coating is proposed.
