Social Responsibility of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Colleges and Universities and Its Implementation

高校哲学社会科学社会责任的履行归根结底离不开高校人才培养、科学研究、社会服务和文化传承四大职能的充分发挥。履行高校哲学社会科学社会责任要充分发挥高校社会科学工作者和高校社会科学科研管理工作者这两种主体的作用。高校哲学社会科学工作者应努力保持良好的职业操守,培养社会批评精神,具有开放的心态并自觉成为学生的榜样;高校哲学社会科学科研管理工作者应树立责任意识,不断完善科研管理制度,强化价值导向功能,努力提升科研管理工作的质量和水平。

The implementation of social responsibility of philosophy and social sciences in colleges and universities cannot be separated from fully executing four functions as personnel training, scientific research, social service and cultural heritage in colleges and university. Moreover, full play should be given to the two subjects, researchers and management workers to implement social responsibility of philosophy and social sciences in colleges and universities. Researchers should try to keep good ethics, cultivate the spirit of social criticism, have open mind and consciously become a model for students. At the same time, management workers should establish a sense of responsibility, constantly improve the scientific management system, strengthen the value-oriented features and enhance the quality and level of management in scientific research.
