经济语篇的批评性分析

Critical Analysis of Economical Discourses

以批评语言学为基础的批评语篇分析为读者提供了批评性阅读方法,从而来揭露其中隐含的优势群体的权力和意识形态。本文主要采用的是Fairclough的分析方法和Halliday的系统功能语言学对《纽约时报》近五年关于中国经济发展的23篇报道进行了及物性、转换、情态和语篇表征四个方面的分析发现,美国媒体对中国的经济的报道很偏颇,所以在审视经济新闻报道的信息和观点的时候,要有批评阅读意识,应该在报道的基础上客观判断报道,全面地看待问题。

Critical Discourse Analysis, initiated by critical linguistics, offers critical readings to show how social groups are presented in discourse and how ideological discourse is constructed. It argues that both the ideological loading of particular ways of using certain linguistic forms systematically and the relations of power which underlie them are often unclear to people. The paper mainly adopts Fairclough＇s model and Halliday＇s systemic-functional linguistics as the tools to analyze transitivity, transition, modality and discourse representation of 23 reports about Chinese economy from New York Times＂ during the latest five years. Based on the above studies, the author makes a conclusion that the reports on China＇s economic growths in New York Times are far from value-free and the readers should develop critical awarene＇ss to read.
