科技图书出版面临的挑战与对策探讨

质量是科技图书的生命。当前国内科技图书涉及学科越来越广,科技图书的引进越来越普遍,读者的阅读要求越来越高。从保证和提高科技图书质量的视角,科技图书编辑应对这些新挑战的对策,首先是要不断提高科技编辑的科学素养,及时了解科技发展的前沿成果,能够运用科学的审读方法和技巧发现书稿中的内容疏误;其次,进一步加强全程质量监控,既敢于出版反映科学技术前沿新思路、新方法的图书,又能够防止含有伪科学内容的图书出版;既能够及时引进国内出版比较薄弱的品种,又能够确保全书符合出版规范;第三,实现内容与版式的双提高,既能够保证科技图书的规范与严肃,又能够满足读者对版式设计的审美要求。

Quality is critical to science and technology publishing. The subjects in science and technology publish- ing involve more and more areas, the copyright importing becomes more and more popular, and the readers become more and more censorious. From the perspective of quality, editors in science and technology publishing should, firstly, conduct continuous learning to be familiar with the advance and development in relevant subjects, and mas- ter the scientific methods and skills to distinguish the discrepancy in the manuscripts; secondly, improve quality control so as to be able to publish cutting -edge subjects without being meshed by pseudoscience, to import the right subjects timely without violating the publishing standards ; and thirdly, improve the format and style of science and technology books without undermining the quality and seriousness.
