Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Friends, It gives me great pleasure to join you at the Ambassadors＇ Forum hosted by the Institute of European Studies （IES） of the Chinese Acad- emy of Social Sciences （CASS）. The Ambassadors＇ Forum is a signature event of IES. Over the years, European diplomatic envoys in China and Chinese diplomatic envoys in Europe have been invited to speak at the Forum and interact with aca- demics and the media. This forum has thus served as a bridge between the government and the public in China and Europe. I would like to thank the organizers for their contribution to China-Europe relations.
女士们，先生们，朋友们：很高兴应邀出席中国社会科学院欧洲研究所举办的“大使论坛”特别活动。“大使论坛”是社科院欧洲所的一个品牌项目，多年来邀请欧洲驻华使节和中国驻欧使节到会演讲，与学者、媒体展开积极互动，在中欧政府和社会之间架起了一座沟通的桥梁，我对主办方为促进中欧关系所作的贡献表示感谢。
