Customizable WMS Symbol Library Extensions and Design

本文在分析了多种WebGIS软件符号库性能的基础上,提出了基于SLD技术制作地图符号库的方法,通过Java语言编程实现了点、线、面状符号的扩展,并验证了通过该符号库可以完成地图专题图的制作以及符合OGC规范的WMS服务发布功能。

Abstract： Based on the analysis of performance of a variety of WebGIS softwares＇ symbol library, in this paper a method that making map symbol library on the basis of SLD technology was presented, which expanded the symbol of point, line and polygon. Furthermore, it was proved that production of thematic map and release of WMS service can be completed through the symbol library.
