翻译工作坊与高职院校的翻译教学

Translation workshop and the translation teaching of vocational colleges

传统的翻译教学长期以来一直被教育界所质疑,翻译在某种程度上被认为属于外语语言知识而非独立的技能范畴。而翻译工作坊教学模式的提出,改变了传统意义上由教师作为知识传授者的教学模式,转变为以学生为中心,让学生在实践中学会翻译。这种教学模式也符合高职院校实行校企合作,培养实用性人才的改革趋势,充分体现了高职翻译教学的特色。

Traditional teaching model of translation has long been criticized because to some extent translation is regarded as subsidiary branch of foreign language instead of an individual skill. However, the new teaching model of translation workshop has shifted the tradi- tional teaching model which is teacher - oriented to students - oriented. This teaching model helps students master translation skills through practice and accords with the aim of reform of the vocational college teaching to cultivate practical talents.
